Add Old Contact Lists to Your Campaigns

When you first got started with Gym Lead Machine by Kilo, we requested that you send us three CSV files that comprised your contact lists including leads, your current clients, and your canceled clients (alumni).

On your launch day, we added those lists to your GLM system - if provided - and properly tagged each contact with their status tag 'lead,' 'client,' or 'alumni.' We did not place these contacts into a campaign for you as we opt to give you time to read and approve all long-term nurture before choosing to use it for your contacts.

You can access those lists anytime using the Contacts section and then filtering by tag. The article below will assist you with adding those three contacts lists in to the proper long-term nurture campaign.

When adding these contact lists to campaigns, we recommend the following:

  • Add your imported Lead list to the Fitness Pipeline - Long Term Lead nurture workflow campaign. 
  • Add your imported Client List to the Fitness Pipeline - Long Term Client Nurture workflow campaign. 
  • Add your imported Alumni list to the Fitness Pipeline - Cancelled-Reactivation workflow campaign. 

To do this, first, make sure you're inside Contacts in the left menu of your Gym Lead Machine account. You will use the "More Filters" function to filter through your database until you get the list of contacts that you want to add.

  1. Click the More Filters button in Contacts.

  2. Select the filter option by "Tag" and then select the tag 'imported lead," 'imported client,' or 'imported alumni' depending on the list you are working with. Click Apply.

    When you begin to type the tag name into the field, it will auto-populate the option for quicker selection.

  1. Select the contacts from the list by clicking the checkbox next to their name. If you're selecting a group of contacts, you can click the checkbox on the top left to select every contact on the page. If you have contacts on more than one page you need to select, click on the "Select all records" text next to the checkbox. 

  2. Once you have the contacts selected, click the Add to Campaign button. It's the one that looks like a robot. 

  3. Using the drop-down arrow, select the campaign to which you'd like to add this group of contacts.

    In this case, since we searched for and selected imported leads, we're going to select 'Workflow - Fitness Pipeline - Long Term Lead Nurture.'

  4. From here you can set this to add your contacts all at once. That means you'll add your selected contacts to the campaign immediately. You also have the option to add all of your selected contacts to the campaign at a scheduled date and time.
  5. Once you are ready and satisfied with your settings, click Add to Campaign/ Workflow.
  6. Repeat the process for the other two lists as needed.
    1. For your current client list, filter the Contact list by the tag 'imported client' and then select all records. Add them to 'Workflow - Fitness Pipeline - Long Term Client Nurture.' Once you're done, click Add to Campaign.
    2. For your cancelled client list, filter the Contact list by the tag 'imported alumni' and then select all records. Add them to 'Workflow - Fitness Pipeline - Cancelled-Reactivation.' Once you're done, click Add to Campaign.

Notes:

  • Adding contacts to your GLM system and including them in the pre-built nurture sequences is an optional process. It is our recommendation, though, to assist with higher conversions and less client churn.
  • To have our specialists import your contacts lists at any time post-launch, please complete this request form.
