Your website's header is the strip that runs across the top of every page: it holds your logo, your website name, and your navigation menu, and because it appears on every page, changes to it apply site-wide. This article covers the header's settings in WordPress: the website name, logo, favicon, top banner, and fixed-header behavior.
The links inside the header (your navigation menu) are managed separately. To change which pages appear in your navigation bar or footer, their order, or their names, see Update Your Site Menu.
What you can do with your header
Change your website name
Swap your logo and adjust its size for desktop and mobile
Change your favicon (the small icon in the browser tab)
Turn on a top banner with your own colors and content
Enable or disable the fixed header
All of these settings live in one place: go to Theme Settings → Header in the left sidebar of your WordPress dashboard.
Change your website name
To change the website name, click into the Website Name field and enter your new name.
In most cases, you shouldn't need to change your website name, since it's the name of your gym.
Change your website logo
Hover over the logo and click the pen icon.
Adjust the width for desktop and mobile as needed.
Change your website favicon
The favicon is the small icon that appears in the browser tab. To change it, hover over the favicon and click the pen icon.
Show a top banner
The top banner is positioned at the very top of the page, above the header. It's useful for announcements you want visible site-wide.

Enable the Show Top Banner option.
When you enable the top banner, the following options will appear:
Banner background color: this should usually be your brand color.
Banner text color: this should be either black or white, depending on the background color.
Banner content: add the content you want to show inside the banner.

Fixed header
A fixed header stays pinned to the top of the screen as visitors scroll down the page. You can choose to have a fixed header, or disable it here if you'd rather not use it:
