How to Create a Landing Page (Funnel) in GLM
A landing page is a single web page built to do one job - usually capture a lead, promote an event, or sell a challenge. In GLM, landing pages live inside Sites > Funnels. A funnel is just GLM's term for a group of one or more connected landing pages (for example, a sign-up page plus a thank-you page). If you only need one page, your funnel will only contain one page. The terms are often used interchangeably, so anywhere you see "funnel" in GLM, think "landing page."
This article covers how to create a new landing page or funnel from a template. If you need to edit a page after it's built, see Editing a Landing Page or Funnel Template in GLM.
Is a landing page the same as a funnel?
Close enough for most gym owners. A landing page is one page. A funnel is one or more pages strung together. In GLM, both are managed in the same place: Sites > Funnels.
Before you start: templates are already in your account
Every GLM account ships with a set of pre-built landing page templates loaded at delivery. You do not need to design anything from scratch. The fastest path is:
- Pick a template that's close to what you need
- Clone it
- Edit the copy, images, and form
A quick note: the templates won't always match your exact event type, and that's fine. The layout and structure are what you're really borrowing. Pick one that's close enough to the feel you want (a sign-up page is a sign-up page) and swap in your own copy, images, and form fields when you edit it. You don't need a "Bring a Friend" template to build a Bring a Friend page.
If none of the loaded templates fit what you're running (or if you've already used your favorite and want a fresh version for a new event), you can request additional templates through the Template Request Form. You can request multiple at once, and you're welcome to clone any template again for future events.
How to create a new landing page or funnel
Step 1: Access the Funnel Builder
- In your GLM dashboard, go to Sites.
- Click on the Funnels tab.
With your Gym Lead Machine subscription, you have access to a library of funnel templates that you can edit, clone, or customize to match your gym’s brand and goals.
Step 2: Create a New Funnel
-
Click the blue + New Funnel button in the top right.
Give your funnel a name (e.g., Jordan’s Test Funnel).
Add steps to your funnel. For example:
- Opt-in Page: This will capture your visitors' contact information. Name the path something simple like “welcome”.
- Thank You Page: Name this step “thank-you”.
Step 3: Customize Your Funnel Steps
Edit the Opt-in Page:
-
Choose Create from Blank to start fresh.
Inside the Funnel Builder:
-
Add a Section.
Add a Row (choose a single column).
Add Elements, like:
- Image (upload your logo)
- Headline (e.g., “Welcome to the Funnel Builder”)
- Sub-headline (e.g., “Follow the steps to build your funnel”)
- Button (with custom padding and color)
-
- Set the button action to Open Pop-up.
Step 4: Set Up the Pop-up
-
Click into the Pop-up Settings.
Add a Form Element (these are built separately in your Form Builder).
- For the example, choose a simple form like “Website Form”.
- Set the form action to go to the Next Step after submission.
Step 5: Customize Design & SEO
-
Background: Add a background image for a visual touch.
SEO Settings:
- Title: Appears in the browser tab and search previews.
- Description and Image: Used for previews when shared on social media.
Step 6: Customize the Thank You Page
-
Choose Full Width layout.
Add a Row and a Column.
Insert:
- Headline (e.g., “Thank You for Visiting!”)
- Sub-headline (e.g., “We’ve emailed you the steps to get started.”)
Step 7: Funnel Settings
-
Assign a Domain to the funnel for sharing.
Add a Favicon (the small icon in the browser tab):
- Upload it via your media library.
- Paste the image link into the favicon field.
Final Step: Test Your Funnel
- Open the Opt-in page.
- Click the button to trigger the pop-up.
- Submit the form to see the redirect to your Thank You page.
That’s it! You’ve successfully created a simple, branded funnel using Gym Lead Machine.

Where can I get more landing page templates?
If none of the templates in Sites > Funnels fit your needs, request one through the Template Request Form. You can request multiple at once and clone any template for future use.
How do I take a payment on the form?
Integrate a payment processor (Stripe or PayPal) in Payments > Integrations inside GLM. Then:
- Set up a product
- Add the payment option to your form (Kids Summer Camp example)
Do I edit the landing page in the same place I create it?
Yes. Once your page is created, you'll edit it through the GLM page builder. See [Editing a Landing Page or Funnel Template in GLM] for the full editing guide.
