This guide shows your team how to send a one-to-one text from Gym Lead Machine and make sure it goes out via iMessage (Linq Blue) instead of standard SMS.

How Do I Send a Text via iMessage Instead of SMS?
Switch the message channel to iMessage before you hit send.
Open the contact. From your Gym Lead Machine Dashboard, go to Contacts and click the contact you want to message.
Open the message composer. In the contact record, go to the Conversation box (message area at the bottom/right, depending on your layout).
Switch the channel to iMessage. You'll see channel options (e.g., SMS, Email, and iMessage). Click iMessage so it's selected.
Type and send. Type your message in the text box and click Send.
Note: The system defaults back to the original channel (usually SMS) after a send or when you open another contact. If you want the next message to go via iMessage, select iMessage again before sending.
What Should I Expect When Sending via iMessage?
When iMessage is selected, your message sends through your Linq Blue number using Apple's iMessage network.
If iMessage isn't available for that contact (e.g., an Android user), the iMessage option may be hidden or disabled. In that case, use SMS.
Remember that Linq Blue limits how many new iMessage conversations you can start per day. For details on limits and messaging guidelines, see Getting Started with Linq Blue (iMessage).
Keep an eye on the channel selector each time to ensure you're sending through iMessage when you want it.
