AI Studio in GLM

Authors list

AI Studio is a prompt-based builder inside Gym Lead Machine that helps you create websites, landing pages, and other client-facing experiences without building each section by hand. You describe what you want in plain language, and AI Studio generates a working first draft you can refine, connect to forms and calendars, and publish.

What you can do with AI Studio

  • Generate a website, landing page, or interactive page from a written prompt

  • Start from a template instead of building from a blank page

  • Use a reference link, screenshot, or your own images to guide the design

  • Ask follow-up questions in plain language to refine colors, copy, and layout

  • Make quick visual edits directly in the live preview

  • Connect a form or calendar so the page can collect submissions or bookings

  • Preview your project on desktop, tablet, and mobile before it goes live

  • Publish to a preview domain and connect your own custom domain

  • Return to an earlier version of your project at any time

Before you begin

  • AI Studio needs to be turned on for your account before it appears in your left navigation.

  • Creating or editing projects requires a permission level that grants full access to AI Studio; a more limited, view-only permission level also exists for team members who only need to see projects.

How do I create a project in AI Studio?

  1. In the left navigation of your account, click AI Studio.

  2. In the description box, type a prompt describing what you want to build. Include as much detail as you can: the type of business, the page's goal, and any brand or style direction.

  3. Optional: attach a file or image, or paste a link to a live website, to guide the layout, structure, or style of the result.

  4. Submit your prompt to start building.

If your prompt is broad, AI Studio may ask a few follow-up questions before it builds, so the first draft better matches your goals. These questions can include:

  • Color palette: choose from curated color options without needing exact hex codes

  • Typography style: choose a font pairing, such as modern, clean, or editorial

  • Layout direction: choose a layout style, such as grid-based, split, or gallery

  • Conversion goal: choose the main action the page should encourage, such as booking a call or collecting leads

You can answer each question, skip individual questions, or skip all of them and let AI Studio choose based on your prompt.

Starting from a template

  1. From the AI Studio home screen, click the Templates tab.

  2. Select a template type, such as a landing page, dashboard, E-commerce storefront, or portfolio.

AI Studio builds a project from the template that you can then refine with prompts, just as you would a project started from a prompt.

How do I edit and refine a project?

Refine with follow-up prompts

After your first draft is generated, you can keep prompting AI Studio to make changes, such as:

  • Changing colors or styling

  • Rewriting headlines or body copy

  • Adding a section, such as a contact form or booking area

  • Matching a specific section to a reference link or screenshot

Make visual edits in the live preview

  1. Click Visual Edits in the prompt area at the bottom left of the builder.

  2. Double-click any text on the page to edit it inline.

  3. Select an element to open controls for images, icons, colors, spacing, and layout.

  4. Use a prompt on a selected element when you want AI help with a specific change.

Edit the underlying code

AI Studio includes a code editor for making direct, targeted changes to a project without regenerating it. Changes made in the code editor appear in the preview in real time.

Connect forms and calendars

Forms and calendars you add to a project start as front-end layout only; they don't collect data until you connect them.

  • Forms: ask AI Studio to connect a form, or click Connect when it's offered in the chat. This links the form to your account so submissions start coming in.

  • Calendars: for a booking page, AI Studio can detect calendars that already exist in your account and prompt you to choose which one to connect.

NOTE: A form or booking section will appear on the page as soon as AI Studio builds it, but it won't send data into your account until you connect it.

Improve search visibility

AI Studio includes built-in tools to help your project get found by search engines and AI-powered search tools. These tools can help search engines crawl and index your pages, make sure shared links show the correct title, description, and preview image, and generate a sitemap.

Return to an earlier version

Every change AI Studio makes creates a version you can return to.

  1. Click Version History from within your project.

  2. Open, preview, or bookmark an earlier version.

  3. Revert to that version if you want to undo more recent changes.

How do I publish my project?

  1. Click Publish in the top right corner.

  2. Update the project URL if needed, then click Publish again.

  3. Update the icon, name, description, and social image, then click Apply Changes.

  4. Click Publish to make the project live on a preview domain.

Connect a custom domain

You need to publish your project to a preview domain before you can connect a custom domain.

  1. Click Publish, then select Add Custom Domain.

  2. Enter the domain you want to connect.

  3. If you enter a root domain or its www version, you can choose to add the other version too and set up a redirect between them. Connecting both is recommended.

  4. Add the DNS records shown, then confirm the domain is verified. If the domain is already managed within your account, this step is handled for you automatically.

Set a primary published URL

If you've connected more than one domain to a project, you can choose which one visitors are sent to.

  1. Click Publish, then click the menu next to the URL you want to make primary.

  2. Click Set as Primary.

NOTE: Any other domain connected to the project redirects automatically to whichever URL is set as primary.

Frequently asked questions

Is AI Studio only for building websites and landing pages?

No. AI Studio can also build other client-facing experiences, such as multi-step surveys, branded forms, and booking flows.

Can I move an AI Studio project into my regular website or funnel builder?

No. AI Studio projects stay in AI Studio and publish directly from there; they aren't designed to be copied or moved into a separate website or funnel builder.

Can I preview my project on mobile before publishing?

Yes. Use the device icon at the top of the preview to switch between desktop, tablet, and mobile views before you publish.

How much does AI Studio cost?

AI Studio is priced based on the amount of AI usage, measured in tokens, that a project consumes rather than a flat fee. Because AI Studio can use different AI models for different kinds of requests, and those models consume different amounts of tokens, usage cost can vary from one project or prompt to the next.

Can I reuse a project I've already built?

Yes. You can duplicate an existing project within your account to reuse its structure and content as a starting point for something new.

Where do form submissions from my AI Studio project go?

Once a form is connected, its submissions appear in your account alongside your other contacts and form submissions. You don't need to check AI Studio itself to see the responses.

Can a workflow run when someone submits an AI Studio form?

Yes. Once a form is connected, its submissions can be used to start a workflow.

Helpful tips

  • Give AI Studio as much detail as possible in your first prompt, including your business type, the page's goal, and your brand style, for a stronger first draft.

  • Use an image or a link to a site you like as a reference instead of trying to describe the look in words.

  • Use Visual Edits for quick text, image, and layout changes, and prompts for bigger structural changes.

  • Check version history before making a big change so you can always return to a version you liked.

  • Publish to the preview domain first to review your project before connecting a custom domain.

  • Connect a form or calendar as soon as you add one. It won't start collecting data on its own.

When this feature is most helpful

  • Launching a new landing page or website without starting from a blank page

  • Testing a few different design directions quickly before committing to one

  • Building a booking page connected to an existing calendar

  • Creating a multi-step survey, quiz, or lead capture form

  • Reusing a project as the starting point for a similar page
