Credit Based Packages

We know many gyms rely on 'packs' to give athletes flexibility while still keeping memberships structured and predictable. A common challenge has been that athletes often use all their credits before their package’s expiration date—leaving Owner's to manually step in, adjust usage, or process early renewals.

To help streamline operations and reduce manual work, Kilo is expanding its package model to support credit-based packages.

⭐ What’s New: Credit-Based Auto-Renewal

With this new model, packages can now automatically renew when all credits have been consumed, not just when the time period expires. This gives gyms and athletes a more seamless experience that aligns with real-world usage.

A credit-based package will be renewed once all limited credits have been checked in, regardless of when the reservation was made. These packages no longer have a validity period to set up.

The new feature allows:

  • Owners the ability to select between Time-based or Credit-based packages when + Package is selected

  • Credit Based packages will need to be created as new packages in Kilo GMS. All current packages are 'time-based'
  • Renewals on Credit Based packages will be triggered when the last credit is checked-in
  • Alerts will be received at check-in and an email will be sent to Athlete when the last credit is used

The Sales Portal will also indicate if a package is credit-based or time-based.
