[Athletes] Logging Your Workout Results in the Kilo App
Workout logging in the Kilo app lets you record your results for a class you've completed, see how you did, and update your numbers later if you need to. Your coach can also log results for you, and either way the result shows up the same in your app.
You'll find your workouts under My Events → Past in the Kilo app. Each past class shows a workout icon: grey means no results are logged yet, and green means your results are in.
What You Can Do in the App
- Log your results for a completed workout
- Enter results the way your coach set them up (time, weight, reps, and more)
- See a note when you set a new personal record
- Leave a note for your coach about how the workout went
- Update your results later if you made a mistake
- View results your coach logged for you
How to Log Your Results
- Open the Kilo app and go to My Events → Past.
- Tap the class you want to log.
- In the Workout Program section, tap Log Results.
- Enter your result for each movement. The inputs match how your coach set up the workout, so you might enter a time, a weight, reps, rounds, distance, or calories.
- Optionally add an overall note about how the workout felt or any feedback for your coach.
- Tap Save Results. You need at least one result filled in to save.
Once you save, the class icon turns green and the button changes to View Results, with the option to Update Results any time.
Where Do I Find a Past Workout?
Go to My Events and open the Past tab. Every class you've attended appears there with a workout icon. Tap any class to see its workout and log or view your results.
What Do the Green and Grey Icons Mean?
Grey means you haven't logged results for that class yet; green means your results are in. It's a quick way to scan your past classes and see which ones still need your results.
How Do I Enter My Results?
The app shows an input for each movement based on the scoring type your coach chose. A few examples of what you'll see:
- Time: enter minutes and seconds
- Weight: enter the weight and reps for each set your coach set up, and choose your unit (lbs or kg)
- Reps, Rounds, or Rounds + Reps: enter whole numbers
- Distance: enter the distance and choose your unit (meters, kilometers, or miles)
- Calories: enter a whole number
For weight and distance, your unit defaults to what's common in your region, and you can change it any time with the unit selector.
Can I Change My Results After Saving?
Yes. Open the class and tap Update Results. Your previous entries are already filled in, so you can adjust them and save again. Updating replaces your earlier results for that class.
How Do I Know If I Set a Personal Record?
If your result beats your previous best for a movement, the app shows a new record message when you log it. There's nothing to turn on; for movements your gym tracks, personal records are detected automatically as you enter your results.
Do I Need to Be Checked In to Log My Results?
No. You can log results even if you weren't checked in, and logging your results doesn't check you in. Logging is just about recording your performance for a class you took part in.
Can My Coach Log Results for Me?
Yes. Coaches can log results for the whole class, and anything your coach logs shows up in your app just like results you entered yourself. If your coach already logged your result, you'll see it when you open the class, and you can still update it if something's off.
Helpful Tips
- Log right after class while your numbers are fresh.
- Add a note for your coach if something felt off or you scaled a movement.
- Check for the new record message to see when you've hit a personal best.
- If a number looks wrong later, use Update Results to fix it.
When Workout Logging Is Most Helpful
- Recording your results right after finishing a class
- Keeping a personal history of your performance over time
- Letting your coach see how you did and any feedback you leave
- Tracking personal records on the movements your gym follows
