February 2026 Newsletter
{{contact.first_name}}, do you have any competition goals in 2026?
It’s OK if you don’t—many people use fitness training just to lose weight, gain strength or feel better, and they have no interest in competition.
But others want to challenge themselves in competitions, and you have a lot of options in the fitness world. A bonus: Putting an event on the calendar can greatly increase your motivation and provide a reason to stay on track.
Here’s a non-exhaustive list of fitness competitions our clients enjoy:
- Running, swimming, cycling, rowing and skiing races.
- Triathlons and duathlons.
- Obstacle-course races and mud runs.
- Hyrox races.
- Functional fitness throwdowns.
- Powerlifting and weightlifting meets.
- Bodybuilding and fitness/figure events.
Our expert coaches have experience in all these disciplines and can help you get ready for any event.
Beyond that, many people use fitness training to prepare for competitions in other sports, such as baseball, tennis, golf, pickleball, soccer and hockey.
Improved strength and conditioning will improve overall performance in any sport, and we can also put together sport-specific routines to accomplish clearly defined goals such as “hit a golf ball further” or “improve running speed and stamina in soccer games.”
Do you have anything on your to-do list this year—either on your own or as part of a team?
Or would you be interested in entering a competition if you had a precise training plan that laid out every aspect of preparation?
Either way, we can help.
Our trainers are masters when it comes to coaching people to earn an advantage over the competition and perform at peak levels on game day.
A great coach can help you:
- Increase speed and agility.
- Improve power output and strength.
- Boost balance and core strength.
- Build endurance and stamina.
- Eat for performance.
- Train your mind.
- Strategize for best results.
I’ll give you one tip right now: Use a plan to prepare for any event. You’ll go into a competition with more confidence if you’ve trained with a precise plan. Nothing beats the feeling of saying, “I did everything I could to prepare. I’m ready.” Nerves vanish and you’re able to give your all without worrying or thinking “I wasn’t prepared for this.”
We know there are lots of events on the local calendar right now, and we’d love to help you get ready. We can even help your entire team prepare for a new season or tournament.
Let’s talk about a plan: We’ll meet with you, answer all your questions, get the details of your event and then lay out the steps for success on the big day.
