Purchase on behalf of others

We are pleased to introduce a more polished and improved checkout experience aimed at streamlining the process for clients to purchase packages through the public Sales Portal and Athlete Sales portal. This update ensures a seamless transaction for clients, whether they are purchasing for themselves or on behalf of someone else, such as a child or family member, eliminating any unnecessary steps or ambiguity.

These updates are designed to reduce manual work for staff, improve reporting accuracy, and give clients the transparency they expect before making a purchase.

Clients Can Now Buy for Others—No Manual Setup Needed

Previously, new customers couldn’t purchase on behalf of someone else unless the recipient's profile was created first, adding unnecessary steps and slowing the checkout process.

With the new feature update:

  • Clients can choose “For myself” or “For someone else” right away.
  • If buying for another person, they can create or select the correct profile during checkout.
  • Ensures each purchase is tied to the correct athlete from the start
  • Keeps attendance, billing, and communication records accurate

This keeps purchases flowing smoothly for both families and your team.


How the New Checkout Flow Works

Step 1: Choose the Recipient

At the start of checkout, client selects:

  • Myself, or
  • Someone else

Step 2: Create or Select a Profile

If buying for someone else, customers can:

  • Create a Linked Profile (e.g., a partner or adult family member), or
  • Create a Dependent Profile (e.g., a child)

The system guides them to choose the right profile type.

Before payment, the client reviews:

  • Contracts
  • Waivers
  • Required policies

Once accepted, they move to payment knowing exactly what they’re agreeing to.

Step 4: Complete Payment

The purchase is completed with the correct profile, permissions, and documents already in place. No additional steps needed before booking their first class.
