Understanding Your GLM Pipelines
During your Onboarding Call, your Specialist gave an overview of the Gym Lead Machine platform. We know that the call may have moved quickly, so we’ve provided a review of the key features discussed. This guide will help you better understand the important actions within your GLM pipeline and how to manage them effectively.
Automatic Actions in the Pipeline
- New Lead: When a lead submits a form connected to your GLM system, an opportunity is automatically created in the "New Lead" stage.
- Appointment Booked: Once an appointment is scheduled through your GLM sales calendar, the opportunity card will either move to or be created in the "Appointment Booked" stage.
- Abandoned Status: If a lead does not respond or make progress within a set timeframe, your GLM system will automatically mark the lead as "Abandoned." When this happens, the lead's status updates and they are enrolled in the Long Term Lead Nurture process.
Manual Actions in the Pipeline
- Appointments Showed/No Show/Cancellation: You can manually move opportunity cards to these stages by updating the appointment status in the Calendars -> Appointments section.
- Sales (Past & Present): Opportunity cards are automatically moved to this stage when the status is updated to "Won."
- Lost Status: When a lead decides not to proceed with a membership, manually update their status to "Lost." This will filter the opportunity from the pipeline.
- Cancelling a Client: To cancel a client's membership, tag their contact as "fitness cancelled client" or "nutrition cancelled client." This tells the system that the individual is no longer an active member.
Additional Notes
- Lost or Abandoned Cards: If you drag and drop an opportunity card to the "Lost" or "Abandoned" stage instead of "Won," the system will move the card back to its most recent stage. This is an expected behavior, but you’ll still see the "Lost" or "Abandoned" status to the right of the opportunity's name.
- Filtering Opportunities: To focus only on active opportunities, keep the status filter set to "Open." You can also customize your view by adjusting the checkboxes to include or exclude other status options.
Other Pipelines (Nutrition, etc.)
The Nutrition Pipeline and any other pipelines in your GLM account work similarly to the Fitness Pipeline. The main differences include:
- The forms associated with the "New Lead" stage (e.g., Nutrition Form).
- The calendar linked to the "Appointment" stages (e.g., Nutrition Consultation or Nutrition Intro).
- The specific campaigns contacts flow through as they move through the pipeline stages (e.g., Nutrition Campaigns).
