Updates to the Kiosk Check-In Experience

Earlier this month, we launched a major update to the check-in process along with the brand new, redesigned Kiosk experience!

A big thank-you to everyone who shared feedback with us after the release — your insights helped our team make a few thoughtful improvements to the check-in flow for an even smoother experience.


By tomorrow, October 15, these enhancements will go live in both the Staff and Athlete versions of the Kiosk:

  1. Changes to Staff version of Kiosk
    1. Reservation tab: Once an Athlete is checked in, the Athletes name will be removed from the Reservation tab and only displayed in the Checked In tab.
    2. When Staff searches for an Athlete in the search bar and submits an action (i.e. clicks check-in, no show, etc.) the search bar will clear and the Staff member will remain on the tab they are working in.
    3. Alerts about Athletes will remain in the Staff Kiosk (past due bill, unsigned document).
  2. Changes to Athlete version of Kiosk
    1. Reservation tab: Once an Athlete checks in, their name is removed from Reservation tab and only displayed in Checked In tab,.
    2. When an athlete submits an action successfully, the screen will return to the Class list view (Reserved) tab.
    3. When a Class or Appointment has ended, (past the event end time), we will remove the class card from the list view to help with the check-in flow.
    4. Once an Athlete has been checked in, the "check-in" button will no longer be displayed, Instead there will be solid text that states "Checked in" with a checkmark icon.
    5. Athlete will be able to check in through the Athlete Kiosk if they have a past due bill or an unsigned document. This aligns with the old version of the Athlete kiosk.
    6. Athlete alerts will be removed from the Athlete Kiosk to maintain athlete privacy.
