Tip of the Week #59- How to Create a Professional, Clickable Email Signature

Creating a clean and clickable email signature helps your emails look professional and gives leads an easy way to contact you. This guide will walk you through building an email signature inside your Gym Lead Machine account, complete with clickable phone, email, and website links — plus your gym’s logo.

🔗 Step 1: Create a Click-to-Call Link

Before we build the signature, let’s first create a Trigger Link for your phone number so that people can click to call you directly.

  1. Go to Marketing > Trigger Links.
  2. Click + Add Link.
  3. Name your link something like Call Link.
  4. In the Link URL, type:
tel:YOURPHONENUMBER
  1. Example: tel:5551234567
  2. Click Save.
  3. Copy the link — we’ll use it in your signature.

👤 Step 2: Edit Your Staff Profile

  1. Go to Settings > My Staff and select the staff profile you want to edit.
  2. Click Edit.
  3. Scroll down to the User Info section and find the Signature editor.
  4. (Optional) Toggle Enable signature on all outgoing messages to ON — this ensures your signature shows up in every email automatically.

✍️ Step 3: Build Your Signature

Here’s a simple layout you can follow:

Now let’s make each of those elements clickable.

✅ Make the Phone Number Clickable

  1. Highlight your phone number.
  2. Click the Link icon.
  3. Paste the Trigger Link you created earlier.
  4. Choose Open in new window.
  5. Click Save.

Now, when someone clicks your number, it will start a phone call!

💡 Want to allow users to send you a text? Create another trigger link using:

sms:YOURPHONENUMBER

This will open their messaging app with your number pre-filled.

✅ Make the Email Clickable

  1. Highlight your email address.
  2. Click the Link icon.
  3. In the URL field, enter:
mailto:YOUREMAIL
  1. Example: mailto:you@gym.com
  2. Choose Open in new window.
  3. Click Save.

✅ Make the Website Clickable

  1. Highlight your website URL.
  2. Click the Link icon.
  3. Enter your full website link (e.g. https://yourgymwebsite.com ).
  4. Choose Open in new window.
  5. Click Save.

🖼️ Step 4: Add Your Gym’s Logo

  1. In the signature editor, click the Image icon.
  2. Upload your gym’s long-style logo (horizontal logos work best).
  3. In Alt Text, you can write something like "Gym Logo".
  4. In the Link section, you can link the logo to your gym’s website.
  5. Resize the image to fit nicely in your signature.
  6. Click Save.

🎉 You’re Done!

Your email signature is now saved and will automatically appear in all your outgoing emails from Gym Lead Machine — complete with clickable actions to call, email, visit your website, or view your logo.

If you ever want to update your info or style, just repeat the steps above.
