Creating your survey
- You can drag over Standard fields, which are items already built into GLM (i.e. first name, last name, email, phone, birth date)
- The tab beside the Standard is the Custom Fields where you can add custom questions to ask on your survey. To do this, click Custom Fields and scroll down to the Add Custom Field button. After making your new question, drag it over to your survey.
- You can click on a field to update its element or make it required
- The On Submit field determines the action that will happen when your survey is submitted. Surveys can redirect to a custom URL or display a thank you message.
- You can use the embed code to embed the survey on a webpage or landing page
- You can click the Link tab to copy the URL where your survey will live
- Once your survey is built, you have the option for our team to assist you in setting up an internal alert to let you know when a survey is submitted. You may email hello@usekilo.com with (1) the name of the survey and (2) the team member(s) who should receive a notification when the survey is submitted.
- To check on the responses to your survey, go to Builder and then hover over Surveys in the upper menu. Select Submissions. Select the Survey you want to check and be sure the date range in the upper right is set for the entire time your Survey has been active.
