Tip of the Week #51- How to Turn on Notifications for Social Account Expiry

In this quick guide, we'll show you how to set up notifications to remind you before your connected social accounts in Gym Lead Machine expire. This way, you won’t be caught off guard and can easily reconnect your accounts to avoid any disruptions to your social posting.


Why This Matters:

Each social account you connect to Gym Lead Machine (like Facebook or Instagram) has a validity period, after which you’ll need to reconnect the account. If you forget, your scheduled posts could stop going out — but turning on pre-expiry notifications helps you stay ahead of this.


Step-by-Step: Turning on Social Account Expiry Notifications

  1. Go to the Marketing Settings
    • From your Gym Lead Machine dashboard, click on Marketing.
    • Head over to the Settings section.
    • Here, you'll see your connected social accounts along with their validity period (the date they expire).

      Enable Notifications

    • Next, navigate to the Notifications section in your settings.
    • Look for these two options:

      Account Pre-Expiry — Sends you a reminder before your account expires.

      Account Expired — Alerts you if your account has already expired.

    • We recommend turning both on to stay fully informed.

      Choose Where You Want Alerts

    • You can select how you'd like to be notified (email, SMS, etc.) depending on your preferences and setup.
