Tip of the Week #45- How to Use the Drip Feature in Workflows

Want to send a message to a large number of leads without hitting spam filters? Here’s a great way to use the Drip feature inside Gym Lead Machine that you might not have tried yet!

Drip from the Contacts Section

You might already know that you can send messages in batches using the Drip option when messaging contacts directly:

  1. Go to your Contacts tab.
  2. Select all contacts you want to message.
  3. Choose to send an Email or SMS.
  4. Select Drip Mode, set your batch size (e.g., 100 at a time), and your time interval between batches.

That’s the standard way, but now let’s take it a step further.

Dripping Inside a Workflow

If you're running an email campaign—like inviting all your leads to join your free Facebook group—you can set up the drip directly inside a Workflow:

  1. Create a new Workflow and add your message (email or SMS).

    Use the Drip action to control the delivery. For example:

    • Set the batch size (e.g., 200 leads at a time).
    • Set the interval (e.g., every 1 hour).
  2. Save your Workflow.

Next, go back to your Contacts:

  1. Select all the contacts you want to include.
  2. Click Add to Automation and select your new workflow.

Now, Gym Lead Machine will drip your message to your entire contact list in controlled batches—helping keep your deliverability high and avoiding spam filters.

Monitor the Progress

To check how it's going:

  1. Head over to the Automations tab.
  2. Open the Workflow you used.
  3. You’ll see how many contacts are queued, how many have received the message, and how many are finished.

That’s it! You’ve successfully used the Drip feature within a Workflow to manage large-scale outreach more effectively.
