Tip of the Week #28- How to Find Opportunities If You Can't See Them
Sometimes, when you’re searching for a client’s opportunity and it doesn’t show up right away, it’s likely due to filtering settings. Here’s a step-by-step guide to quickly locate opportunities in Gym Lead Machine:
Option 1: Check the Opportunity Status Filter
By default, the system filters opportunities with the "Status: Open" setting. If your client’s name doesn’t appear, follow these steps to adjust the filter:
- Navigate to the Opportunities section.
- Look for the client’s name in the list of stages. If it’s not visible, click on Advanced Filters.
- Remove the "Status: Open" filter.
- After removing the filter, you’ll see opportunities with all statuses, and your client’s name should appear.
Option 2: Use the Search Field for Contacts
If adjusting filters doesn’t work, you can use the search field:
- Go to the Search bar at the top.
- Enter the client’s name (e.g., "Kala").
- Scroll down to the Opportunities section under their contact information.
Once you find the client’s opportunity:
- Select it to open the Opportunity Details window.
Update Opportunity Status or Stage
If the opportunity is listed under a different status (e.g., "Abandoned"), you can change it:
- In the Opportunity Details, update the status to Open.
- Optionally, adjust the stage to the correct one within the same details window.
- Save your changes, and the opportunity will now appear under Opportunities with the updated status and stage.

You can always reapply or adjust filters to refine your search as needed. This makes it easy to manage opportunities and ensure no leads slip through the cracks.
