[NAME], let’s put you in a time machine and send you to Jan. 1, 2026.
I want you to imagine that you feel unbelievably happy, satisfied and accomplished.
Now, as your 2026 self, write down all the reasons you feel that way.
What happened in the previous 12 months?
What did you accomplish? What went well? Where did you score big wins?
As a special favor to me, spend a little time thinking specifically about health and fitness.
Did “2026 You” lose 10 lb. or reach a 250-lb. deadlift?
Did “2026 You” hit the gym three times a week for the entire year? Did you reach a goal related to a race or competition? Did you eat veggies at every meal or prep healthy lunches all year?
What’s in the rearview mirror that’s making the 2026 version of you glow?
Try and be as specific as possible, and write everything down.
You can probably guess where I’m going with this: Today is the day to start working on all the things that will fill your cup in a year. Not tomorrow. We start today. You only get 365 days until 2026, and I want you to make every one of them count.
I know you are capable of great things, and I can’t imagine where you’ll be with a year of focused effort behind you.
As a coach, I want to help you wherever I can. Let’s review your list of “Jan. 1, 2026, fitness accomplishments” together. If we do, you’ll get three things:
- Momentum—because saying a goal out load makes it real.
- Expert advice on how to accomplish your goals as quickly as possible with a precise plan ofattack. If we need to adjust the plan along the way so we can move faster, I’ll do it!
- Accountability—I’ll keep you on track and make sure you’re always moving forward.
