December 2024 Newsletter

[NAME], I’ve got a short list of gift ideas for you!

I picked this stuff to help you shop for the “fitness people” in your life.

Or, if you are the fitness person, you could send this list to someone who’s planning to give you a gift.

I hope this list helps you or your loved ones during the holiday season!

  1. Gift Certificates to the Gym

Yes—we have gift certificates for training services! We’d be happy to put a custom package together if you hit reply or call [NUMBER]. Let us know what you want—intro packages, PT packages, monthly memberships, supplements and apparel. We can create a gift that’s perfect for a special person on your list!

  2. Blenders

Every fitness person needs a blender for making protein shakes! This kitchen tool can help with pre-workout intake, post-workout recovery or even meal replacement. You’ve got lots of options: You can get a portable single-serving blender for someone who’s on the go or a full-size countertop model for those who use smoothies to “feed the herd.”

  3. Wearables

Fitness people love tracking metrics, and wearable tech has made that easier than ever. Options abound: Garmin, Apple, Fitbit, Samsung, Oura, Google, WHOOP, Withings and a host of other companies have products that track all sorts of activities. Protip: Make sure the device you select matches the style of the person who will wear it.

  4. Wireless Headphones

These are essential for exercisers—and it never hurts to have a backup set handy in case someone drops an earbud under a heavy barbell. Apple AirPods are perhaps the most well-known devices, but Bose, JBL, Sony and others have great products, too.

  5. Mobility and Recovery Gear

People who train hard get sore, and they want to recover quickly so they can get after it again. To help, consider foam rollers, lacrosse balls, massage guns, red-light therapy devices, muscle stimulators and similar products. If you know a polar bear, you could even pick up an ice tub they can soak in.

  6. Socks and Water Bottles

Kids don’t enjoy gifts like this, but adults love them. Who doesn’t need a nice pair of gym socks? And we all know someone whose water bottle is starting to look battered and “less than clean.”

  7. Kettlebells and Dumbbells

It’s not practical for most fitness enthusiasts to buy huge machines, but gym goers love simple, effective gear that doesn’t take up a lot of space. Kettlebells and dumbbells are perfect, and if you get the weight right, a person can use a single implement for a host of great workouts. A good starting point: 35 lb. Scale up or down from there as needed.

  8. Jump Ropes

A simple jump rope can provide a great warm-up or full workout. Ropes are also perfect for people who travel—they are light and small, so they’ll fit in a suitcase or backpack. Basic and premium models allow you to customize the gift to the user.

  9. Gym Bags

Some people tend to let gym bags get ripe with sweat, spilled supplements and dirt. Do everyone a favor and replace the bacteria farm with a fresh bag that has compartments for food, beverages, shoes, clothing and valuables.

  10. Pull-Up Bars

Lots of people want to get better at pull-ups but don’t have a bar nearby. Door-mounted pull- up bars solve that problem in a flash. If you have any worries about the installation skills of the receiver, be sure to help them mount the bar safely.

Happy Holidays!

Those are just a few popular items fitness people love. I hope they help you round out the pile under the tree.

Remember, the sooner you finish shopping, the sooner you can get back to the gym.

All the best of the season to you and yours!
