While it's important to gather reviews to build your gyms online presence, it's equally crucial to respect your clients' time and preferences and not pester them into leaving you a review.
Tracking Google and Facebook Reviews
This guide will walk you through an easy way to track who has given you a review on Google and Facebook using custom fields and smart lists.
Step-by-Step Instructions
1. Create a Custom Field
- Navigate to Settings:
Go to the settings section of your system.
Create a Custom Field:
- Go to Custom Fields under the settings menu.
- Select Folders and choose the General Info folder.
Add a new field by clicking Add Field.
Configure the Custom Field:
- Set the field type to Checkbox.
- Name the field Review Submitted.
- Also, enter Review Submitted in the option name field.
- Click Save.
2. Use the Custom Field
- Check the Custom Field:
- Go to the Contacts section.
- Select any contact and scroll down to the General Info section.
You will now see the Review Submitted checkbox.
Update Review Status:
- When someone leaves a review, go to the Reputation section to see who has given you a review.
- Look up the person in the Contacts section and check the Review Submitted box.
3. Create a Smart List for Review Tracking
- Filter Contacts:
- Go to the Filter section.
- Select Tag and ensure it is set to Client.
- Add another filter for the custom field Review Submitted and set it to Empty.
Apply the filter.
Save the Smart List:
- Save this filtered list as a smart list.
Name the smart list something like Hasn't Given Reviews.
Use the Smart List:
- As you update the review status for contacts, use this smart list to identify who hasn’t given you a review.
- Select everyone in this smart list and send them a review request.
