Understanding the Kilo Athlete View
The video below offers a quick look at the Athlete View of Kilo Gym Management. Unlike the Staff and Admin views of Kilo which are best used on a large screen like a laptop computer, the Athlete view of Kilo is intended and optimized for mobile use.
Mobile app availability:
- Athletes using iOS in the United States and Canada can search for "Kilo Athletes" in the App Store, download the app, and log in.
- Android can search for "Kilo Athletes" in their App Store as well.
Athlete Login to Kilo
Athletes see a similar login screen as Staff and Owners.
- They'll enter their Email as username and the password they set when they activate their Kilo account.
- A "Remember me" option on the login screen as well as social login options for faster access. Users may stay logged in to Kilo between visits rather than logging in each time.
Social Logins are available to use in place of the email/password combo after activation.
It's important to note that once a social login is connected, it invalidates the password that was originally created. To go back to the email/password combo, the athlete will need help from the gym owner to be deactivated and reactviated, then sent the password reset email.
Kilo Athlete Features
The Schedule tab acts as the "home" screen of the athlete view and allows athletes to self-book classes that are included in their membership package. They can also view the class programming if it has been entered, and other reserved athletes for that class.
Note that the athlete will, at standard, only see classes to which their membership package allows them entrance. They can see all events, even those for which they don't qualify, by changing the filter view as shown in the video.
- Athletes can view and edit upcoming reservations in My Events
- Athletes see their membership package, credit use, and package validity dates in the Packages tab.
- In Documents, athletes can sign documents and waivers that have been added to their athlete profile. They can toggle between Signed and Unsigned docs. Unsigned docs can be signed and Signed docs can be downloaded.
- In Account, athletes can update their name and email address, change their password, and add a new payment method to their profile.
Important Note For Adding Payment Methods:
- Payment methods can be added in both the Owner/Staff and Athlete view.
- Payment methods can only be deleted from the Owner/Staff view.
- For bank accounts, it is preferred that the Athlete open v1.usekilo.com in their Chrome browser, log in to Kilo, and then follow the Stripe payment wizard to connect with their bank. We have some reports of this process timing out when completed on the mobile app and our development team is working to address the issue.
