Tip of the Week #89: Contact Cards Overview (New Layout)
In Gym Lead Machine, the contact card has been updated to give you a clearer, more organized view of each lead or member. This guide walks you through the layout so you know exactly where to find everything.
Contact Header Section
At the top of the contact card, you’ll see key details:
- Contact Name – Front and center for quick identification
- Engagement Score (if enabled) – Helps you gauge how active or responsive the contact is
- Assigned User – Shows who on your team owns this contact
- Followers – Team members who are also tracking this contact
- Tags – Labels used to organize and segment contacts
Managing Tags:
- Click the “X” to remove a tag
- Click the “+” icon to add a tag, then search and select
All Fields Section
This is the default view when opening a contact.
Here you’ll find:
- Basic details (name, email, phone number)
- Custom fields you’ve created (forms, surveys, etc.)
Use the search bar to quickly locate specific fields or responses.
DND (Do Not Disturb) Settings
This section shows the contact’s communication preferences.
- View if they’ve unsubscribed from:
- SMS
- All
Actions Section
This area shows where the contact is actively engaged in your system:
- Opportunities (pipeline stages)
- Active and past Workflows (automations)
What you can do here:
- Remove items by clicking the “X”
- Add them using the “+” icon
- Click the arrow icon to jump directly into a workflow
Client Portal Access
If you’re using courses, offers, or communities, this section shows:
- Products or programs the contact can access
- Community group memberships
- Engagement score (if enabled)
Conversations & Activities Panel
This is the central area of the contact card and shows interaction history.
Default View: All
Displays both:
- Conversations (emails, SMS, etc.)
- Activities (appointments, payments, etc.)
Filter Options:
You can toggle between:
- Activities Only
- Appointments
- Opportunities
- Payments
- Invoices
- Action logs (if enabled)
- Conversations Only
- Emails
- Text messages
This helps you quickly focus on either communication or actions depending on what you are looking for on a specific contact.
Activity Log (Right Sidebar)
This section gives a deeper look into the contact’s history.
You can view:
- Contact's Activity History (form submissions, bookings)
- Opportunities
- Tasks & Notes
- Appointments (past & upcoming)
- Documents (signed or uploaded)
- Payments
You can also collapse this panel to expand the conversation view.
