Tip of the Week #80: How to Create a Dedicated QR Code for Review Requests
Generating more reviews for your gym just got easier. With Gym Lead Machine, you can create a custom QR code that sends members directly to your review page.
Follow the steps below to set it up.
Step 1: Access Review QR Settings
- From your Dashboard, navigate to Reputation
- Click Settings
- Select Reviews QR
- Click New
Gym Lead Machine will automatically generate your review request link inside the QR builder.
Step 2: Customize Your QR Code
Once your QR code is generated, you can personalize it to match your gym’s branding.
You can:
- Adjust your logo size
- Add custom text (like “Love your workout? Leave us a review!”)
- Remove default branding if desired
- Resize elements for better visibility
Make any changes you’d like, then click Save.
Your dedicated review QR code is now ready.
Step 3: Download and Display in Your Gym
After saving, you can:
- Download the QR code
- Print it
- Laminate it
- Place it at your front desk, exit door, or check-in area
Encourage members to scan it as they leave. A simple call-to-action works great:
“If you loved your workout today, scan this code and leave us a quick review!”
Automatically Post Reviews to Social Media
Once reviews start coming in, you can have Gym Lead Machine automatically turn them into social media posts.
Here’s how:
- Go to Marketing
- Select Post Reviews
- Choose your review sources
- Select where you want the posts to publish
- Set your filter (for example, 4 stars and above)
- Choose posting preferences (feed only, etc.)
- Click Create Post
Now, whenever Gym Lead Machine detects a new qualifying review, it will automatically publish it to your selected social media platforms.
